At the New York Chess & Game Shop Play Care Center, we use a variety of fun and engaging activities to stimulate and help develop your child's mind. There is story telling, story reading, arts and crafts projects, memory games, music influenced activities and educational computer software program usage. Gross motor skills and fine motor skills are also worked as many of our games and toys require mind and body coordination. The children love to play with the "Giant Chess Set", The" Super Sized Checkers", and the "Mega Dominoes". No two days are the same but concepts are repeated and reinforced for optimal retention.
Math, Language Arts, and Global learning are always incorporated in the activities.
The NYC & G Play Care curriculum is especially designed for your four, five and six year old.
During these crucial formative years we help enhance your child's intellectual development
in a safe and nurturing environment.
Chess is one of the most effective games for stimulating
the imagination and enhancing the reasoning and cognitive thinking skills
your child will need as they grow up.

The New York Chess & Game Shop Play Care Center is open Mon - Fri 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Early appointments (7:30 am - 8:45 am) and all day care, can be arranged.
