Adult chess classes at the New York Chess & Game Shop are both rewarding and fulfilling! Our clients are diverse in gender and background.

If you've never played chess before and always wanted to learn or currently play and want to develop better strategic ideas and methods, the New York Chess & Game Shop instructors will help you fulfill your wish. We have a variety of instructors - including internationally titled "Grandmasters!" that take immense pride in helping their clients attain their objectives.

Our most popular Adult package is the "Fantastic Four Pack". You receive four, 60 minute classes, a free tournament standard roll up chess kit and free play/practice time at our facillity for one low price - $200.00.

The classes are scheduled according to your availability and can be taken anytime within a 30 day period (from the time you register). The Four Pack sessions are semi - private but there is a max of 6 clients per session. (if no one else is scheduled on the date and time you pick - your class is private - we will not cancel your session!) Private classes and out - call instruction can also be arranged.
